In 2017, Mr. Kristian Groth, founder of the Leith Society, was considering his next move. The Leith Society is a professional development and networking organization based in Copenhagen. The firm's members seek out their true inner selves through interaction with like-minded individuals facilitated by trained psychologists. The firm successfully transferred its value proposition to Norway and the Netherlands, but Mr. Groth had his sights on larger markets. He recruited a CEO to develop an operating system and a meeting at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley with students raised the possibility of entering China.
